MACABRE MANISTEE COUNTY 2016
Welcomes Halloween & Autumn Events!
MANISTEE, Michigan - For the ninth year, Macabre Manistee County will showcase a variety of spooky and family-friendly events. Halloween parades, costume contests, craft shows, haunted houses, and so much more are all part of this annual October promotion. There's so much to do, it's scary!
Six-thousand event maps are distributed to in-state and out-of-state visitors, highlighting several dozen activities and guiding them to the event locations. Plus, a central website is updated every year, from which an Event Map can be downloaded and printed. Gatekeeper, the official mascot of Macabre Manistee County, will return to visit select events and greet visitors.
If your business or organization has an event planned during the month of October, or would like more information, call (231) 864-3323 or email vhhancock@gmail.com.
Event listings are free, but all submissions for the Event Map must be received by Friday, August 26. Participating events must be located within Manistee County.
Additionally, businesses within Manistee County may advertise in the Event Map and on the website, alongside the events. Ads are $7 each, on a first-come, first-served basis. Ads must feature a seasonal special or discount that will be honored October 1-31. Inquire for more information.
