MACABRE MANISTEE COUNTY 2014 Welcomes Halloween & Autumn Events!
MANISTEE, Michigan - For the eighth consecutive year, Macabre Manistee
County is returning to the area to showcase a variety of spooky and
family-friendly events. There's so much to do, it's scary! Halloween
parades, costume contests, craft shows, haunted houses, and so much more are
all part of this annual October promotion.
Thousands of event maps are distributed to in-state and out-of-state
visitors, showcasing the many activities and guiding them to the event
locations. Plus, a central website is updated every year, from which an
Event Map can be downloaded and printed. Gatekeeper, the official mascot of
Macabre Manistee County, will return to visit select events and greet
visitors.

Event listings are free, but all submissions for the Event Map must be received by Friday, August 22. Participating events must be located within Manistee County.

Additionally, businesses within Manistee County may advertise in the Event
Map and will be seen online, along with all of the events. Buy two items and
get a pumpkin! Wear a costume into our shop and get 25% off any item! Bring
in your favorite autumn leaf and get half off any item with an orange
sticker!
Ads must feature a seasonal special or discount that will be honored October
1-31. Be creative! Do you need ideas? Contact us and we'll help.
Price: $7 each (same as 2013). Space is limited. First come, first served. One ad per
business. You might be visited by a member of the Macabre Manistee County
committee--they'll have details. Or submit ad copy via phone or email by
Friday, August 22.
