There's the Little Manistee River Weir Tour (last day is Friday, 10/9), Pumpkin Run & Haunted Trail Ride in Copemish, Onekama's Fall Festival, the Marilla Museum's sport fishing presentation & fall supper and the Fall Banquet given by the Big Bear Sportsman's Club (their Gun Show is the following day). Plus, two final chances to attend the Cemetery Walk at Oak Grove.
Also, continuing this second weekend are Manistee's Ghost Ship, Douglas Valley Winery's tours, Harvest Days & corn maze, Apple Valley Orchard tours and the Bottle House Museum in Kaleva, (...you're up to page 2 on your Scary Story for the library's contest, right?)
