Five years later, Macabre Manistee County continues, adding a QR code to the Event Map. This graphic can be scanned by the newer type of cellphones, much like a barcode, and automatically directs one to MMC's Facebook page. Promotional banners also appeared on the northern and southern borders of the county, alerting motorists to the month-long offering of events. American Profile, national weekly supplement, also featured MMC in its roundup of October happenings.
